maw3ad (موعد) is Arabic for “appointment” — the thing we could never seem to get. This is how two brothers turned Lebanon's waiting-room afternoons into a company.
How the idea happened
maw3ad started in Beirut, with a frustration every Lebanese person knows: booking a haircut means calling the shop, sending a WhatsApp, or just showing up and waiting your turn. Shops keep their appointments in their heads and their chats — and everyone loses time. We're two brothers who grew up with that routine and decided to build the fix ourselves: a simple way to see who's free, book in seconds, and get on with your day.
